Public Open Spaces (POS) such as Harry Clemens Reserve are of great value to our community. They increase the aesthetic appeal, amenity and value of our neighbourhoods.
POS provide environmental benefits by protecting local ecological systems and management of urban water zones. Socially, POS enhance the physical and mental wellbeing of community members by providing space for informal sport and recreational activities. Finally, POS can help identify, promote and conserve places of heritage significance so future generations can understand what came before them.
Public Open Spaces, like Harry Clemens Reserve provide numerous community benefits, particularly in an inner urban context and protecting and enhancing them has never been more important. That’s why I have created this survey.
Thank you for taking the time to fill out my community survey - I look forward to hearing your views on public open spaces.
