I’m Lisa O’Malley and I’m proud to be part of the Cook Government that is committed to delivering for Bicton.
I love our community and it’s a great privilege to serve as the Member for Bicton
I know that active communities are healthy communities. As your local Member of Parliament, I’ve delivered vital facilities upgrades to Fremantle Netball Association at Gibson Park Netball Courts and invested in many local sports clubs.
As a local mum and P&C member, I know how important a good education is for our young people. I’ve fought to secure vital investments and upgrades for our local schools here in Bicton and we’ve made TAFE affordable again, so young apprentices and trainees get the skills they need for local jobs.
We live in a beautiful part of the world, and I’ve worked hard to ensure our river and public spaces are preserved for future generations. We’ve delivered a $60.3M Green Jobs Plan as part of our $5.5B Recovery Plan - because greener jobs are the future. Plus, we introduced the Container Deposit Scheme, banned the plastic bag and we’ve released our Plan for Plastics, which encourages reducing single-use plastics.
I’ve been working hard to deliver for our community - and I won't stop.
